Yesterday's run was a nice and comfortable run. It is nice to be able to say that again.
We ran down to the Town Office, which meant that we had to run on Blake...which for the most part wasn't too bad. Yeah, there were some stretches of dirty ice that made sure that I didn't try to stretch out the legs too much and had to be sure of how I landed and picked up my feet (no big toe off in those areas).
Down-back is probably the best I have ever seen it for the end of February and as long as the boys with their toys (trucks) can stop being stoopid when the frost does come out - because there still will be some good mud, the roads down there should be pretty good.
We are also in the process of attempting to find a new Primary Care Physician...which is a pain in the arse. It really sucks when you are supposed to find the person/practice that that shares your medical philosophies (yes I have pretty damn strong opinions on some things) and will be your new gateway to the wonderful world of western medicine.
I haven't had much luck with doctors over the years and now only go when something is broke, bent or twisted wrong, yeah I do the once every couple of years thing, to let them know that I am still alive. However, the truth is over the past 5 years, the less I see them the better I have felt. It might not always be that way, but for now it is working for me.
Oh well, it has come down to a couple of practices/doctors and I guess I will have a bunch of forms to fill out once we make the final choice. Still it sucks more than it should, just to have medical care.
