Sometimes we just have to deal with what you get. Today's run down-back was one of those days where we couldn't/didn't run too fast, but we stayed upright and didn't go ass over teakettle, even though it would have been pretty easy to do so.
|Bennie was a mud-pie when we finished and he needed that thing called a bath when we got home - he wasn't impressed by that. He hates baths.|
Yeah, the post's title pretty much say it all.
Once we got on the dirt road, it was either slimey mud, frozen mud, muddy ice or ice with very little crunchy snow or dry runnable patches. So we ran to the conditions.
The temps were almost 40*F, with a slight breeze out of several directions (it seemed like whatever direction we were running it was in our face), so I got to wear the lighter-weight stuff for a change, which was nice.
Actually a pretty decent run.
