My first post using my new format for the RunLog. Not perfect, but it gives me some structure and is still free-form enough to not constrain me to a formula data entry and loose my voice.

Notes/Observations about the run: Bennie 35 seconds into the run stopped to sniff and pee, so I had a feeling it was going to be "one" of those runs. Once we got going again, the leg was feeling pretty good and the Bennie stops were reasonably quick.
When we were coming down Blake Hill a deer stepped out into the road and was looking at us.
I stopped took and took a couple of photos and then started running again. Bennie finally spotted it (I think it was a buck from the size) and insisted that we go check it out a lot closer. That is that super spike in the graph - actually it didn't feel too bad, but I could tell I haven't been doing much in the way of speedy running. I just felt awkward.
BTW: We didn't get that close before the deer jumped back into the woods.
After that we just kind of plugged along. It was getting warmer and Bennie wasn't all that into it. The hills killed/crushed me today worse than usual, but I kept plugging along up them.
Once we went by the house Bennie kind of figured out that the fastest way to get home wasn't dragging ass behind me and finally started to get things going again.
I wanted to go to Quarry Road tonight for their 3K, but I have a sneaking suspicion that if I do that it will just set me back a little ways again - like it did last week. So I will stay on the roads for a while longer and let the leg continue to heal...which means no Quarry Road tonight. However, I do see another run in my future today, but this time without Bennie.
Aches and Pains:
|Yeah, the left leg still isn't letting me just run, but at least I am running with it at about 60%. Hamstrings are still barky, but about the same as they have been for a while. The hips have been bothering a little lately, it feels like they always do when I am increasing the mileage again, it take a while for them to get back in shape. Even though I did actually do some of my rehab exercises this morning before the run, which did seem to make a difference.|

Remarks: I actually have gotten to the point where I really don't think too much about the LG7's, which is all that I want from running shoes.
