Intro: Yeah, the weather channels were claiming that there was only a 3-7 mph breeze out of the NW while I was out running...well let me let you in on a secret -- if those were 7 mph winds, I don't know nuthin and am just gonna go play on the treadmill from now on. Otherwise it was a nice day, low humidity, close to 80 and sunny.
I did get in my other set of shoes - Under Armour SpeedForm Apollo 2's. More on them tomorrow.
Tonight I am just wearing them around the house.

Notes/Observations about the run: I think I know why I was having such a hard time breathing when I first started out!!! That 5:45 pace quickly slowed to a much more reasonable pace which allowed me to breath again :-).
Can you tell that my brain is ready to run faster and the body is telling it "you are f-ing nuts".
I really wasn't trying to go fast today, I am still wanting to stay zone 1 & 2 almost all the time, until the leg finally feels good enough to run, not just plod along. Looking at the graph it seemed like it should have been a little more consistent, but I will take it considering the winds that were actually blowing out there today. Too much of it in my face.
Shoes Used:U/A Bandit 2
U/A Apollo 2
Remarks: This was my first run w/o Bennie in them and one thing I noticed was that my heels warmed up a little more on the pavement. In other words I was doing my best heel striking today. Although it seemed as though my right foot was a little too snug, I have a feeling that I need to loosen up the LockLaces a bit, there is always that getting the adjustment "just" right, but it is really close.
I got my one of Birthday presents in this afternoon and am wearing them around the house to make sure they fit decently. I will take them out to calibrate the foot pod tomorrow and maybe a treadmill run to see how they do there. They are definitely Harold shoes.
