Notes/Observations about the run:

This morning's run started out really nice, but as we got down to the first gate my neighbors were out practicing pulling with the draft horses. Needless to say Bennie got all excited and wanted to go play with them. I got to play mean old Harold and unceremoniously picked him up and ran past them with him under my arm like a football.

He was not impressed.

However, the neighbor on the drag thanked me and said the horses were still a little meechy around little barking dogs. I carried Bennie for another 20 yards and then put him down. He wasn't interested in running and kept wanting to turn-around to go back to play with the horses. It got so bad that I finally turned around before we got to the mile marker on Blake.

Once we turned around, he was fine and ran like he usually does. Then when got back on the tar and the horses were not around he began to do the tug o war thing with the leash. It was constant non-stop pain-in-the-arse Bennie stuff. Finally, I had enough and we went into correction mode and after three stops and corrections, he finally got the message and just ran.

So I am totally shocked that we even came close to a 9:00 minute pace.

Bandit 2's are still doing fine, but I might have to tweak the snugness on the LockLaces a bit. Although when I was running I didn't have any issues.

Shoes Used:
U/A Bandit 2
Mileage:
6.31
Remarks:
The Bandits did well, I was a lot more concerned about how Bennie was behaving and didn't notice the shoes so much, other than to notice that I wasn't paying attention to them ;-).

Weight:
Sleep 7.5 hours

Aches and Pains:
Left Leg - it started to get a little sore towards the end, probably didn't help with Bennie yarding on the leash so much
Hamstrings - no change
