Nothing fancy today.
This morning's run was done in LOW humidity, low 60's, no breeze, just about perfect to work up a sweat and still run decently.
Bennie and I even got to chase a car for a change. Overall, it was just one of those nice Bennie runs where he does his thing, I don't worry about stopping to smell the roses and we both get back to the house smiling.

It was 86*F and just too hot for a decent run outside, but I had already decided that I was going to do a treadmill workout to force me to run a little quicker and not fight traffic, bumps or heat. I had thought about doing some easier intervals and then decided to just do a 3.0 mile progression run
- 1.0 @ 7.6 mph
- 1.0 @ 7.7 mph
- .50 @ 8.1 mph
- .50 @ 8.2 mph
- .10 @ 8.2 mph

Nothing spectacular, but since I had already run once, I wasn't looking to break the sound barrier, just run a little faster than the 8:40 to 9:20 pace I have been pretty much locked into lately. More to remind the body it still can and to get the legs to seeing if they yell too much - they didn't.
So it was a nice change of pace and I know that I am going to get my share of the treadmill in few months, but if I want to hit specific (faster) paces, this is where I do it best. On the treadmill.
I did forget to hit the stop the second time to record the run, so it looked like a lot longer than it actually was
